Rastatrix bring their uplifting reggae, ska and dub vibrations to Settlers Tavern, Woodichup/Margaret River, on Fri-night 3rd of January.
If you like music that’s danceable from the beginning to the end, that’s full of positive social and environmental messages, that’s original and innovative, has solid and lively percussion beats, phat bass, skanking guitar, dynamic trumpet solos and three-part vocal harmonies – then you’ll enjoy Rastatrix’.
Rastatrix have been performing since 2012, with appearances at Fairbridge Festival, Bob Marley Outernational Day, opening for Dragon, Kooii and Sticky Fingers, have featured a song on WAM’s ‘Sounds of the Great Southern’ compilation, and tour all around the south-west of WA, from their base in Kwoorabup (Denmark WA).
Rastatrix feature David Rastrick on trumpet, vocals, slide-didgeridoo and keys, Jonelle Grochowski on vocals and electric percussion, Xander Rowden on electric guitar and vocals, Brad Anderson on bass guitar, and Mark Gretton on Drum-kit.
