Reared in Sydney’s club scene in the early noughtys, simokin developed his tastes for grinding funky beats on the DF at sublime and the underground.  Expanding his repertoire during his 1 year sabbatical in northern England immersing himself in tech house basements and dub nights in the West Indian centre of Leeds. both leaving an indelible mark on Simokin’s output of funky, techy, dubby vibes found in his sets. With an appreciation for good songwriting and popular remixes you can find something for everyone when simokin is behind the decks.
