The Sinnermatics are time travellers from the dawn of rock’n’roll. They hail from an age when the sound of youth rebellion exploded like a bomb. An era where people dressed as sharply as the fins on the stylish cars they drove.
Rockabilly was a primal strain of this new dangerous music, fusing black rhythm and blues with white country styles, pioneered by Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley
The Sinnermatics play rock’n’roll as its originators intended.
The band consists of Margaret River residents Peter Jones (lead singer) and Inti Valazquez (lead guitar). Double bass wizard Leon Pratt, drummer John Flint and Jason Hyde (keyboards and saxophone) complete the line up.
The Sinnermatics Rockabilly band perform regularly in Perth at The Mustang Bar, Alabama Song Bar and Bar Orient. They also headlined at the Bumper ‘n’ Beats festival in Bunbury.
Expect to enjoy a high energy performance from these talented musicians with music that will keep you on your feet.
